Hana Asbrink is a journalist, food writer and editor, recipe developer, and podcast host based in New York City.

She is the former executive editor of Chowhound at CBS Interactive, where she led editorial and commerce strategy for the site, and helped launch the Table Talk podcast. Prior to Chowhound, she was a senior editor at Food52 where she helmed home and lifestyle coverage, as well as contributed recipe, video, and branded content.

After getting her master's in journalism at Northwestern University, Hana worked at media outlets including Bloomberg News, People.com, Tasting Table, and InStyle.com. She attended the French Culinary Institute (now International Culinary Center), and has cooked in the kitchens of The Martha Stewart Show and Jean-Georges's ABC Kitchen.

Her passion for the intersecting worlds of food and lifestyle can also be seen on the site Pantry Confidential, which she co-founded with photographer Christine Han.
